It’s funny how facts blur and morph over time.

History is conveniently forgotten or even outright changed in some cases.

Valentine’s Day originated back in the third century AD when Emperor Claudius II executed two men.

They were both named Valentine, but were killed is separate years, both on February 14th.

It was during the feast of Lupercalia, which is the Pagan Roman festival of fertility.

The Catholic Church went on to honor their martyrdom with the celebration of St. Valentine’s Day.

I’m not sure how executing two men becomes the special day of people in love around the world. But, when you slip in the fertility aspect of the festival, I guess it becomes more obvious.

If you ask someone to, “Be my Valentine,” does this mean you’re in a relationship with that person? It seems common practice is that this person is someone special in your life, but not that you are in a “relationship.”

I’m not judging that, it’s fine with me. But, you should know what you’re saying and what the receiving party expects when you make the gesture of “being Valentine’s.”

I read that there are about 200 million Valentine’s cards bought each year for the celebration.

That’s a lot of cards.

But that’s not close to the 1.6 billion Christmas cards sent out each year.

There are 224 million roses grown each year for the occasion and the average person will spend about $130 on their partner.

How about a gift that just keeps on giving, year after year?

Something that will do more than wilt and whither like a cut rose.

Something that could grow a fortune.

What could such a gift be?

How about giving Perpetual Wealth to that special someone this Valentine’s Day?

Perpetual Wealth can last generations.

What else could be more romantic?

You’d be able to enjoy the best of everything you love.

All year long…
