The playwright Oscar Wilde said: “Success is a science; if you have the conditions, you get the results.”
In a world that’s so tech oriented, it seems a crazy thought to say that “success is a science.”
Or does it?
But before I answer that, let me say this – most of the success or personal development “gurus” out there have it wrong.
It’s true!
You’ll hear this or that guru talk about how important it is to “think big” and take your goals and break them down into smaller goals. One’s you can achieve in some predetermined time frame.
Their advice is only partially correct.
The problem is that they don’t go far enough with their plan.
Let me explain.
There are two critical aspects to goal achieving – not just goal setting.
Anyone can set goals that they won’t achieve, so why bother?
If you’re going to set a goal, be committed to achieving it. I’m laughing as I write that sentence. That’s a statement almost every goal setting coach says.
The problem with it is there’s no “how to be committed” in that statement.
The first critical element that all the gurus miss is the importance of aligning your conscious and subconscious minds. They work together in tandem. While you’re awake and while you’re asleep.
If your two minds aren’t properly aligned, there’s a push and pull fight that goes on between them. And guess what?
Your subconscious always wins!
So, point one is that you must align your waking conscious thoughts with the work your subconscious does all-day and all-night long to take you to where “it” really believes you want to go.
If you allow your subconscious to be programmed by outside influences, instead of your own, you’re destined to be wallowing in slow progress at best, or worse still, no progress at all.
The second critical point that the “gurus” mess up is the bit that starts with: breaking your goals down into smaller goals.
That’s OK.
But only IF you also match those goals with daily tasks your subconscious is also acting on, and that move you continually forward toward your desired end results.
It’s a simple concept, yet few do it.
The key to this task oriented goal achieving is the programming of your subconscious with those tasks. The mustn’t just be conscious thoughts.
By doing this, you’ll wake up each day not only knowing what you need to do, but your subconscious has programmed you to be enthused and willing to do what it takes to get you there.
Further, this type of alignment creates habits of success.
And the truth is, you become unstoppable!
There is a science to achieving. It’s simple and doable by almost anyone.
I show you exactly how in videos two and three in my program; Perpetual Wealth: 7-Steps to Wealth, Prosperity and Freedom.
