I was accepted into university, but chose not to go. I just didn’t see anything that really interested me.

Looking back, if I had decided to go to school, likely a Securities Lawyer or Plastic Surgeon would have been up my ally. But, I didn’t think of those ideas back then.

Instead, I went on to try a few different jobs to figure out what I didn’t want to do. One was at one of the big five banks in Canada. I started in a clerical position, which was so boring I could barely manage to stay awake.

When I decided to quit that job, the manager pulled me into his office and offered me a management trainee program.

They would pay for all my schooling and get me on track to be a bank manager and move up the ladder. There were likely some other routes I could have explored, but those weren’t told to me at the time.

I contemplated what my manager was saying and told him respectfully that I was going to decline his offer.

To my surprise, he said to me; “if you don’t take this opportunity, you’ll never amount to anything.”

WOW!!

Can you imagine someone saying that to you?

How would you react? Would you get mad?

Would you become disheartened and let it eat at you?

The thing is, my manager had never taken the time to get to really know me. He just knew that I did a very good job at the time. (even though I was bored)

If he had gotten to know me, he would have known about my determination and that I had told my mother when I was ten years old that, “I was going to be rich.”

The reason I didn’t take the job, was that I didn’t see myself confined and constrained in an office or behind a desk for the next forty or fifty years.

It wasn’t me or how I envisioned my life.

From the time I was young, I saw myself doing business from anywhere, even the beach.

The internet wasn’t around at that time, so I didn’t know how that would happen, but I somehow thought it would.

As it turned out, I went on to become one of the top real estate sales people in my area and in my “spare time,” (of which I had none) I built a multi-million-dollar side-business.

I’ll bet if I met my ex-manager today and compared our personal net worth’s – mine would be SUBSTANTIALLY more than his. Really, it just makes me laugh when I think about what he said to me.

Now I live what I call, The WIFI lifestyle.

I get to do manage my business from wherever I am in the world. All I need is high-speed WIFI. I get to do what I want, when I want, from where I want, without the monetary constraints most people have.

The thing is, I can show you how to have exactly the same lifestyle.

So if anyone had ever said something as absurd to you, as was said to me, it’s time to prove them wrong!

It’s time to build an online business, starting part-time (like I did) and create your own WIFI Lifestyle.
