MOMism #22: “When given the chance to do good, people do do good!” We aren’t just a business, we’re dedicated to the Aubrey community. That is why we never miss an opportunity to give back. We truly believe that we can make a difference and are more than happy to help however needed.
MOMS weekly supports area Food Banks and Neighbor in Need. Annually they host and sponsor a Car Show during Labor Day Weekend. The last 3 years the event has benefited the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 920 of Denton TX, and their Green Valley School Project. The Veterans’ have taken the Green Valley School, a rural community school, and saved it from ruin. The Veterans all work in their spare time to turn the school into a building that can be used by community organizations as a meeting place, as well as, privately for weddings, parties and family reunions.
Another event that is near to their heart is the World Famous Moms Annual Bike Rally. Held the 3rd Saturday in September, this event works with community schools to gift bikes to deserving kids! MOMS works directly with Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), and Spokes for Hope to raise awareness on child abuse and for the Denton County Children's Advocacy Center.
