I’ve started watching Game of Thrones recently with my wife.
We don’t watch a lot of television, but like to work our way through quality programing every so often.
Especially without commercials on Netflix, or in this case HBO.
As I’m sure you know, people rave about Game of Thrones.
Me…?
Not so much, so far.
We’re half way through season three. While I think the acting is good and the sets and costumes are amazing, I’m not a huge fan of the fantasy stuff.
Although, I love The Twilight Zone.
Especially the originals where you get to see some of the actors that are today household names, like William Shatner. Those roles from the 60s on the small screen in black and white helped propel their careers.
Instead of the fantasy type of program, I prefer shows like Breaking Bad, Sopranos or Dexter.
There’s some basis of reality to them.
Hey…
I don’t judge anyone for liking fantasy movies or shows. They’re just not top of my personal favorites list.
Actually, I rarely ever judge anyone, but that’s a topic for another day.
I’m not sure if the people that like fantasy shows live in more of a fantasy world or not? I have no evidence of that, it’s just a question really. Maybe they’re more a left-brain person and I’m more right-brain?
Not sure.
I do know this though.
Most people live in a fantasy world when it comes to creating wealth and freedom.
