Motives are interesting things.

Money, sex, power, recognition, greed, etc. These are apparently key themes that motivate us.

You might think that being motivated is all negative just reading that list.

But I look at motivation a little differently.

Here’s how.

When I think of motivation, I think of being at an event where a great speaker has just ramped up the crowd, got them all fired up and standing on their chairs. You know the type.

People, including me, come away feeling great and even empowered.

But, for how long?

You see, external motivation to my mind is usually fleeting. It comes and goes.

Which is why when I’m asked (and it’s one of my most often asked questions), “how do I stay motivated? I tell people to forget about being motivated.

Really… be inspired instead!

I look at it this way.

Motivation is something that comes from an external stimulus.

Inspiration, comes from within!

When you think about that and “get-it,” it really is a profound mind-shift.

When you begin to work on your own mindset, inspiration comes in waves, droves and even abundance.

The follow-up question is often, “OK, so how do I become inspired?” Often with a bit of a smirk.

It would be easy to say, “you either are, or you aren’t inspired”, then move on and let them flounder.

But of course, I don’t. That’s not who I am.

Seriously, it’s about aligning your conscious thinking with your subconscious actions.

Hold on.

Subconscious actions? I’ll bet you thought your actions were conscious.

Some are, many are not.

Many of your actions are habits you automatically fall back on because that’s what your subconscious has you do. It’s what you’re programed to do.

But what about changing your habits, your mindset and your personal programing to become completely inspired?

And, have your subconscious actions align with your conscious actions?

Now that’s powerful!

That’s where inspiration comes from!

And it’s simple to do. I do mean simple.

All it takes is about 7 minutes a day to be 100% inspired and completely aligned consciously and subconsciously.

How?

By using what I call PPMs: Personal Programing Messages.

I show you exactly how to do this in my book, The 7-Minute Millionaire: How to Think Yourself Rich and in my program, Perpetual Wealth.
