You’ve likely heard that it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile.

When this wives’ tale is tossed about, there are a wide variety of numbers that are included to prove the perpetrators point that you should smile more. (usually)

Some claim it takes 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile. The message is that it takes less effort to smile than frown.

However, if you look at it another way, wouldn’t you want to strengthen more muscles by frowning?

OK, enough of the bunk.

The truth is, that science has proven that it takes about the same number of muscles to smile as it does to frown. And, everyone is different.

Muscle structure and the number of muscles in the face can vary and mean that you and I may use different numbers of muscles to accomplish a similar facial expression.

So why do I bring this up?

Because I think when you are creating the life you want, desire and deserve, you’ll be feeling better about yourself and your future.

I know, you’ll be smiling more.

It doesn’t matter how many muscles it takes, you’ll be positively affecting your life and your smiles will positively affect the people around you.

My point is that when you’re happy and creating something positive in your life, you are making a positive contribution to the world.

It all starts with your attitude, habits and mindset.

That’s where my Achievers’ Formula comes in.
