Most days when I send out some of my thoughts via email or on my blog I get some feedback. Usually pretty good for the most part.

Not always though, but that’s not really my point today.

The other day when I did the original article, “Just Stop Trying,” I got some response I didn’t expect.

Just to be clear, I’m totally fine when people don’t agree with me and I look forward to a discussion that can potentially help both parties.

The original article got more response than usual, most of it very positive.

There wasn’t any negative; however, there were people that were afraid of the concept of removing the word “try,” from their vocabulary.

It wasn’t that I didn’t expect that some people wouldn’t want to take up the challenge, what it was that surprised me, was the reason I heard more than once.

I was told in different ways that some people didn’t want to stop using the word “try”, because they used it to “protect” themselves in case of failure.

Interesting and WOW.

This is the exact reason to stop using the word, try.

You want to eliminate “trying” so you not only set up your mindset, but also your actions with the intention of succeeding.

When you make a decision to “do it” instead of “trying to do it,” whatever “it” might be, it communicates a different message to your subconscious.

The conscious decision is now being reinforced by your subconscious, which will work 24/7 on creating what you want in life. It works while you sleep.

But also understand that eliminating “try” from your vocabulary, doesn’t guarantee your success.

You still need to have a great plan and execute your plan.

However, if you do “fail,” you are still able to either start again, adjust what you are doing or do something completely different.

Saying try, may seem like it protects your delicate-self, but it doesn’t. It gets in the way of your success and only gives you a false sense of wellbeing.

So again, my best advise is eliminate the word “try” from your vocabulary and you’ll be better off in the long run.

One of the best ways to do that is replace those thoughts of self-protection with PPMs (Personal, Programming, Messages) which I teach you how to do in my Achievers Formula.

They not only rewire the subconscious to create the future you want. They create habits that you choose, instead of allowing your habits to be randomly programed by external forces.

When you take charge of your personal programing and eliminate “trying” you will discover an inner power, likely unlike you’ve ever experienced.

It’s a simple, but VERY powerful process!
