Yesterday I surprised my wife with an adventure she’d been wanting to do for years.
I took her Stunt Gliding over the Arizona desert, in Maricopa, AZ, about one hour away from our vacation home in Scottsdale.
She first wanted to do it while she was on a trip to Europe, in her teens, but wasn’t able to afford it on a travelling-student’s budget.
We’ve talked about it for years and I’ve done gliding once previously, before we had met.
So, yesterday was the day.
Wow, was she excited when she found out what we were going to do.
The weather was perfect.
We arrived at the airport, which is solely for gliding.
Our pilot Jason is the son of the owner and he’s been flying and training pilots for 25 years. He was great fun.
My wife went first.
She put on her parachute, just in case! We got our orientation of what to do if there is an emergency situation. – They’ve never had a situation to bail out.
Then, off she went being towed by a small plane to over 5,000 feet in the air.
When she returned, she was ecstatic! She was so happy and it was even better than she had hoped all these years.
Then, it was my turn.

But more importantly, I’m telling you this because the joy it brought to me, to be able to give this small gift in the form of a surprise to my wife, was fantastic!
And I owe it to the lifestyle of creating a very profitable online business.
